Republicons who are upset by Trump, but have been listening to AM Hate Radio, mainlining the FuxSnooze cable or, more recently, playing the Gandabyte Click'n-Share Facefook game have no one but themselves and their cynical propaganda promoting party leaders to blame. The Trumpenstein Monster with its Abby Normal brain is only saying out loud on the presidential campaign trail before the nation and the world what has been insinuated between the lines by the GOPropagandists for more than two decades now, ever since Rush "El Snortbo" Limbaugh and the cacophony of his copy-cat cohort have been polluting the public airwaves. And THAT is what's pissing off the Republicon Establishment about the monster of their own creation. It's not his racism or his mysogynistic disrespect for women that has them upset. It's not the painting of muslims as evil America haters who need to be banned and put on a black list, his ludicrous threat to round up 11 million people in the middle of the night and deport them, his support for torture or his saber rattling. It's certainly not his blatantly bigoted Obama Birther BS that bothers them, they were quietly bolstered by that. It's that he expresses all of these horrible values right out loud instead of using the GOPster approved dog-whistle code language to encourage the very same values without coming right out and saying it, which would thankfully be considered impolite in the America of today. GOPocrites! Any good American should know that propaganda has no place in our democracy. That kind of garbage is for fascist and communist totalitarian regimes, not decent republics. But the Republicon establishment has whole-heartedly embraced the use of propaganda and has been using it's manipulative powers to dumb down and whip up their base for years and the chickens with their heads off are coming home to roost! They have mettled with the primal forces of demogoguery and they will Atone! Now this definitely falls into the be careful what you wish for catagory. But I'm rooting for the Trumpenstein Monster to win the GOP nomination and then, in a mindless rage, in keeping with his partuclar idium, turn and strangle his would-be masters, today's repugnant republicon party. Maybe something decent will once again rise from it's ashes. As for those Republicons who are not upset, but rather in authoritarian awe of the towering Trumpenstein and his 4th grade level blowhard cult of personality, for now all I can do is shake my head in dismayed amusement at these people who are supposed to be my fellow Americans, have every right to be angry, but no real clue about why and at who.

What if Someone Did this to You?

What would you say if someone did this to a company you owned or worked at?

Suppose a powerful company that your company provides goods or services to comes to you and says "we're not prepared to pay the prices you've been charging anymore. We're going to pay you $X,XXX.xx per unit." You look at their figure and reply "that's below my cost of production. The cost of the building that houses my operations, the energy required to keeps things going, the transportation costs, the necessary materials all add up to more than that, how am I supposed to do that?"

Them: "We don't care, that's what we're willing to pay, make up the difference from your other customers."

You: "That's unfair and unsustainable!

Them: "If you don't like it we'll get somebody else."

Wouldn't you be outraged? Yes! Who would consider that to be an ethical business practice? Nobody! If people of goodwill heard about a business operating that way, wouldn't they be aghast and upset? Of course!

So why is it O.K. in America for Deadbeat Companies to do that to real people by not paying a living wage and/or denying full time work so that healthcare and other benefits can be withheld and then forcing taxpayers to pickup the tab because the situation for these workers and their families is unsustainable?

It's not O.K. And if this is what constitutes "Family Values" in America, we're in deep trouble both morally and economically and it's going to get much deeper.

And this is another subject all together, but another thing that is totally outrageous is that some of these big corporations take the "profits" that they earn in this way off shore so they don't have to pay taxes in America for work that was done in America. Then they come back later and buy treasury bills, because it's the safest investment in the world, and that means that poor saps like us, who Don't get the write the tax code are paying them interest on their tax free "investment". @$$ouls!

America - A Failing Society

Is a $0.80 cheaper Big Mac worth the price of living in the failed society we are creating here in America?

Fast food workers in Denmark make at least $20 an hour. If you want people to support themselves (and who doesn't?), you have to pay them a living wage. It's really not complicated math.

If a business can't pay workers enough for them to meet their needs, then it's really not a viable business model. It's a Dead Beat Business and it should cease to exist rather than allowing the owners and customers to continue to benefit from the misery and degradation of the workers, their families and their neighborhoods and to continue to outsource the costs to taxpayers and society in the form of public assistance and social instability.

It's their standard operating procedure (GOP-SOP). "Built on bigotry/does not prey on people's prejudices" From Nixon's Southern Strategy to Reagan's Welfare Queen, States Rights mantra to GOPropaganda media tactics and way beyond, it's been a major supporting member of their platform for decades, albeit hidden beneath a thin veneer of what they would call "political correctness" although Americans of goodwill today think of it simply as Polite Decency. "appeal to their highest ideals"? The GOPsters appeal to people's lowest, most negative motives, Fear, Insecurity, Tribalism and Ego (I was born white male and middle class and Depite ALL Odds rose to become white, male and middle class, unlike Those people).

Scalia: Robed Reactionary Rationalizer

It's a very good thing that Republicons wear tiny little lapel flags to remind us all about their "patriotism", because otherwise how would we know? Scalia is being lauded as a defender of the Constitution (even though he believed it's dead), but let's remember him for what he really was, A Robed Reactionary Rationalizer.

In ordering flags to fly at half mast Wrong Way Walker produced the following standard Republicon Hero, Patriot, American blah blah Bull Shit: “Justice Scalia was a patriot and a hero of American legal jurisprudence.  A lion of the justice system, he stood for the letter of the law and did not allow politics of the day to sway his dedication to the constitutional role of the judiciary.  Justice Scalia served our country with honor and distinction.

As a believer in the Divine Right of Kings, Scalia was NONE of Those Things!

So in his decision on a matter of American LAW, Scalia cites not only a religious text, but one from a man who never met the founder of that religion, and whose "authority" is derived soley from a supposed meeting between him and God, alone and in the middle of a desert!

Now juxtapose Scalia's form of legal "Reasoning" with what the founders of our Republic wrote about the source of Governmental Authority in the Preamble to our Constituion:

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

I'm sure Scalia also had one of those little lapel pins tucked up somewhare under his preistly robes, but he was no patriot, because he didn't even unsterstand what the word is supposed to be to an American!

Nor was he a "lion of the justice system" who served "with distinction and honor". One need only look at his disgusting pretzel logic in his attempt to rationalize that Bushyboy's use of torture did not violate the Constitutional prohibition on Cruel and Inhuman Punishment, because, and I quote; "Has anybody ever referred to torture as punishment? I don't think so."

So in my estimation, Scalia did America a huge favor in passing off at a "Hunting" camp in Texas last saturday. The only remaining question is, Was Cheney there with his Scotch and his Shotgun?

I received this piece of garbage in the mail this week. I don't have time sit in on court cases, so I don't know much about the "judgment" of the people in our Walworth County Criminal Injustice System. I bet I'm not alone in that.

But this mailer was disturbing in so many ways, as follows:

• All the convicts pictured are men of color in a 96% white county. Coincidence? No RACIST!
• Necci thinks we don't have any white Crooks? Please!
• As District Attorney his job was to convict the guilty and ONLY the guilty.
• As a judge his job would be to preside over the fair trial of the accused. Fairness, NOT Convictions, Remember this is still America!
• Therefore, his prosecution of Colored Ciminals as DA has no bearing on him being a Judge!

This man's mailer is Racist. It's inflammatory. But mostly, it's a reflection of His Ethical and Moral Terpitude.

Repeatedly Laughable Cult of Con "Arguments"

There are number of arguments that you'll hear repeated repeatedly by the indoctrinants of the Cult of Con. I say repeated, because you'll hear them so often from different Cons in different places that you know they didn't think them up themselves. Rather they were inculcated with them by their ideological minders. Yet they'll obediently drool them out when the subject arrises like Pavlov's dogs and then wag their tails like they're such clever boys. "Look what I did, look what I did!"

And you know they got it from the GOPropagandists on FuxSnooze, Wingnut Radio or the ContraWebs, because they are not capable of coming up with these types of somewhat clever excursions around the truth on their own. They don't possess the type of creative or critical thinking skills necessary. And the proof is in the pudding!

Because the ease with which one can can expose the gapping logical flaws in these arguments makes it more than obvious that the rote repeater did not or could not give the matter any real Conserious Sideration.

I can think of two of these so called "arguments" off the top of my head, yet there are surely dozens of them.

1) The first one you hear all the time is how our urban centers have are perenially run by Democrats and they have certain problems, unemployment, poverty, crime, etc. The Correlation is Causation mistake that is unquestioningly accepted by the Cult of Con indoctrinant and that you're supposed to unthinkly nod your head to as well, is that these adverse conditions are caused by the local government and that it's the fault of the Democrats in charge.

The truth of course is that the conditions in question are the result of non-governmental as well as national governmental forces like White Flight, Segregation, Racism (subtle and overt), Lack of Good Jobs and Economic Opportunities, redlining, racial exclusion from the GI Bill and federal loan assistance, etc. And of course the question of why on earth urban minorities would ever vote for a Republicon Party whose attitudes and policies are completely at odds with their own self-interests, never even crosses the "minds" of these regurgitators.

2)  Another common logical sieve spouted forth by the inculcated is the notion that reasonable gun control measures on a national level couldn't work, because Connecticutt, Chicago (pick your city or state) has strict gun control laws and yet just look at the gun violence there.

Here we see the gross logical apples and oranges error of comparing a city or state, with no control whatsoever of who or what crosses it's borders, with a nation state that not only has customs and immigration controls, but also the ability to regulate what is manufactured within it's borders. Like Machine Guns. None of those abilities apply to local political entities and yet the wingnut can't see for a moment the utter destruction coming their way, by presenting such a flawed, prefab argument to a liberal in possession of critical thinking skills.

And so they get crushed. And then they're hurt and either run away with their tales between their legs or start name calling. And who do they blame for their failure? Why the liberal of course. Because it couldn't possibly be the masters of propaganda that feed their fears, stroke their egos and fill their brains with such lies and mush in the first place!

Yes, it's fricken funny, yes it's entertaining, but in the end it's also really quite sad. Wake up Cons, you're being manipulated!

If one must lie to advance one's thoughts, one's thoughts are not advanced.

Gunman's Arrest Proves Gun Control Works!

As we've seen repeatedly, anybody with Ill-Will and a Trigger Finger is a potential threat for Mayhem in Merica using the Weapons of Mass Murder that are available legally at your local hardware store.

This would-be Gunman could have done all the damage he desired with the semi-automatic military assualt weapons that the Bloody NRA has flooded our country with for the fun and profit of their corporate sponsors. But thankfully he was too stupid to figure that out. Will we be lucky enough for the next mass murderer to be equally foolish?

The reason that the plan of the Ill-Willed Idiot arrested yesterday for plotting mass murder failed was because he tried to buy machine guns. Machine guns have been the subject of gun control in America since the 1930's. They are illegal to own without a very restrictive and hard to obtain federal permit. he broke the law when he attempted to buy them on the black market and without the requisite permit. And THAT is what got him arrested and off our streets, proving that reasonable Gun Control WORKS!

Klimate Karma

Call it karma, call it poetic justice, but I can't help but note that the 2015 Christmas distasters, driven by climate change enhanced El Nino have hit hardest in the southern states that repeatedly insist on voting for the Republicon Party, the party of anti-science zealots who's Purchased Politicians continue to deny the fact of global warming for fun and profit.

Maybe if they get hit over the head enough times by these events of ever increasing violence and frequency these voters will wake up and realize that they've been lied to and GOPropagandized with a crass and craven disregard for the safety and well being of their families, friends and neighbors. And then maybe, just MAYBE, they'll realize that if the GOPsters are willing to lie to them about something as crucial as the very future of our planet and our progeny they'll realize that there is literally nothing that they won't lie to them about if the payola is plentiful.

If we don't solve this problem and there's anyone left in the future to consider the history, today's Republicon Party will get a lion's (or should I say Lyin's) share of the blame!

As his crazy crescendo crests (we hope) establishment Republicons are becoming increasingly alarmed that The Donald will thwart their attempt to yet again seize the Whitehouse. After all they can only flip so many electronic votes without it being obvious to the public at large, so it's got to at least be somewhat close next November.

But the GOPsters have no one to blame but themselves for their plight. They've spent years spewing GOPropaganda from their wingnut radio network and FuxSnooze. They've simultaneaously whipped up and dumbed down their base to make them more easily manipulated for fun and profit.

More recently they've repeatedly demonized our first black president, calling him a Muslim, questioning whether he's really Merican and insinuating to him all manner of "dark" intentions. Blatant racism is long out of style in most quarters, so they've been encouraging a more subtle version ever since Ronald Reagan launched his 1980 campaign in Philadelphia, Mississippi, the site of the murder of civil rights workers in 1964, Crying the Confederate Creed of "State's Rights!

We see this subtle racism today with the Republicon war on poor people and their attack on voting rights among many other fronts. The current "We Back the Badge" reaction to the "Black Lives Matter" movement is a prime example of this and a turning of a blind eye to an obvious history of racially based police abuses now be recorded on our phones as well as to the core American value of Justice for ALL!

In 2010 in the wake of the racially based Tea Party wave the Republicons, in a crass attack on representative democracy, you know Our Republic, Gerrymandered the entire country. In doing so they created a spider web of wingnut state legistative and congressional districts, where Trumpy Type Crazy Talk is not only tolerated it's applauded! Those districts have produced the most extreme rightwing "representatives" since the civil war, resulting an echo chamber where their most extreme, hate and fear filled constituents are ripe for the picking and ready to rally to the call "Mein Trumpf!"

Pall Ryand recently proclaimed this about Trump's call to Ban all Muslims:  "This is not conservatism," Ryan said at a news conference with House Republicans Tuesday. "What was proposed yesterday is not what this party stands for and, more importantly, it's not what this country stands for."

Once again our little Pally get's wrong, well mostly. While these cynical strains have always been a part of conservatism and the Republican Party, except for rare outbreaks (McCarthyism, WALKERISM) only a fringe element. Over the past 30 years the GOPsters have both intentionally and unitnentionally built these elements into a major component of today's radical "conservatism" and the Republicon Party.

The part our Ayn Rand worshipping House Speaker got right? "It's not what this country stands for." And therein lies their problem from the Fascist Frankenstein Monster of their own creation. It's about strangle them and their party.

It probably too late for this election. But it's long past time for the Republican Party to return to the American values that this country does stand for, or face generation Xile and be condemned to wander the wilderness. Republicons Repent!

Last night Nate Hamilton was arrested for disturbing the peace when he refused to stop using a megaphone in the public square. Nate is the brother of Dontre Hamilton who was shot to death by a Milwaukee policeman last year for sleeping on a park bench. Nate and the Coalition for Justice were protesting at the Christmas tree lighting in Red Arrow Park where his brother was gunned down.

You see if you use a megaphone in a public square and drown out the voices of the other people who are rightfully there participating in a public event, you get arrested for disorderly conduct. The very same standard should apply to America's Billionaire's. We all have the right to speak, but Money is their Megaphone. And they are drowning out the voices of the rest of America in our public square while we're rightfully participating in the Most Sacred Public Event of All, OUR ELECTIONS!

Because What's a Hero?

Ever since 9/11 our nation has been obsessed with the term "Hero". There were real examples that day, the best example being New York's police and firefighters who risked and lost their lives to save others. But over time since then it's increasingly gotten to the point of absurdity, where people say things like their parents are their heros because they did what parents do, go to work and raise a family. Please, if that type of thing is the standard, the world has been over-run with "heros" since the dawn of hominids to the point of it being a meaningless term.

One good definition though is a person who accepts risk for themselves to do the right thing for others. Above is a map of shame, states whose "leaders" have gotten red faces when confronted with the prospect of doing the right thing for others who are literally fleeing for their lives! So which America will we be? A nation of cowardly, insular @$$ouls, a potrait which ISIS will spread around the globe to great effect through their social media propaganda campaign "Murica don't want no Muslims"? Or will we be the Heroic America that does right thing because we understand that doing the right thing seldom comes without some risk and that doing the wrong thing seldom comes without it's own just "reward"?
