The response of the Democratic controlled House of Representatives to Donald Trump Declaring a Fake National Emergency should be to immediately move to begin impeachment proceedings for his misuse of presidential authority!

Impeachment proceedings should be started TODAY, the same day that Trump commits this new atrocity on our Republic. If the Democrats don't use the authority handed to them by the American People last fall in the face of this outrage, they are not doing their jobs and they don't deserve to keep them!

I have been of the opinion that we needed to wait until Robert Mueller finished his job and issued his report. I Was WRONG! Besides, we may never see Mueller's report.

1) Set up congressional committees and investigations into all of the suspicious activities that surround Trump and his circle with the power to subpoena witnesses and documents, hold public hearings and bring disinfecting sunlight  to the Trumpian realm.

2) Force Trump and all his inner circle to lawyer up and focus their full attention on defending themselves and their actions and away from their disgusting, un-American agenda. Remember when the Fellowship of the Ring attacked Mordor drawing Sauron's full attention away from his goal of finding the one ring? Yeah, Like That!

3) Grab the news agenda away from Trump the Twit and his ability to thumb-twist the news cycle craft the narrative and deflect attention to suit his self-serving needs.

Declaring a National Emergency to raid funds appropriated by Congress for other purpose to build a monument to himself, based on a stupid campaign promise, that Mexico was supposed to pay for, Not Us, is BRIDGE TOO FAR!

Pall gets More Family Time - We get LESS!

My Wife was just forced to full time at work because of Pall Ryand and the rest of his @$$oul pals and their incessant attack on our healthcare. So she lost her day off. The day off that she used to help her Mother, that she could have used to help my Mother, the day she might have taken care of a future grandchild, the day she did things for our Family and for herself. This is a concrete and highly negative impact to our family from Pall and the "Family Value$ Folk$"! And we're just one among Millions.

Why was she FORCED to do this? To put me on her employer's healthcare plan. Because in Republicon America we must be shackled to our master's plans for our health and retirement, if it's offered at all. The extra money will be slightly nice, but as a social worker, my Wife doesn't make that much anyway, because working to help people is not a valued endeavor in America, so it's definitely not worth the loss of family time, especially because it will eat into my work time, which is most of our income. This is already adding stress to our lives, and her having to pay this price for my healthcare is naturally raising marital tensions. But hey "Family Value$"!

Obamacare (ACA) has been a good option for us. Two of my children and I went on Obamacare (ACA) in 2013 when my former employer eliminated health insurance. Obamacare was cheaper and better anyway and I was able to continue working there, which was my preference, rather than changing jobs just for insurance.

Now I've been able to be self-employed for 2.5 years because of Obamacare, but apparently that type of enterprise isn't of sufficient value to the GOPsters for them to come up with a a viable solution to healthcare in this country. On the contrary, these racists have been hell bent on destroying this healthcare option for millions of Americans that was first implemented by MA. Gov. Mitt Romney and was hatched by the conservative Heritage Foundation. Never mind that, the Black, Indo-Kenyan, Secret Muslim did it and so it must be eliminated despite the collateral damage to millions of Americans.

So we can't be secure in the idea that Obamacare will be there for me next year (even though just as many people signed up this year as last despite the Trumpadyte's efforts). Hence my wife having to sacrifice her time for my physical health and our financial well being while the opportunity existed.

So while Pall Ryand will be spending MORE time with his Family, WE will be spending LESS with ours. Thank you very fucking much you piece of Crap!

Now go cash in on your many @$$oul connections Pall, while we continue to struggle and adjust and hope we can keep our heads above water long enough to get to retirement age in the coming decade or so. Think of all the $300 bottles of wine in your future now! At least you won't be around to fuck that up too, you Debt Piling, Wealth Worshiping Idolator!

Mark Twain is reputed to have said; "A lie can travel halfway round the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." Ironically it was not Mr. Clemens, but someone named Charles Haddon Spurgeon. That made it no less true then and all the more salient today with the Twits and the FaceFooks. 

According to an MIT study of Twitter, falsehoods travel at light speed (up to 100,000) shares, while the truth slinks along on the solar wind (1,000).

I'm not on Twitter thankfully, so I can't comment on the propensity for propaganda on that platform, but I would be astounded if it's worse than the FaceFooks. And since all my snowflake friends in the Cult of Con have unfriended me to avoid confrontations with facts, I don't see much of what constitutes FaceFook "news" over on that side of the aisle anymore. But if it's anything like that which is passed around by my liberal friends (and I know from past experience that it's worse) then we are a nation divided less by the truth and more by lies. For example, I'm seeing many of my liberal cohort on the FaceFooks poo-pooing Russian meddling because HILLARY! DNC! a "logic" that fails to recognize that two things can be true simultaneously, but salves the need for self-reinforcement. But hey they're in "good" company with FuxSnooze, Five Deferments Donny and the Trumpladyte horde!

According to a Pew Research Center survey, 67% of Americans get news from social media, with FaceFook by far accounting for the lion's share. One cannot successfully run a Republic on falsehoods and still promote the general welfare, so We the People are in deep trouble. If we don't wake up and get some media savvy we're screwed!

So here are some good rules of thumb:

• Use lots of critical thinking and healthy skepticism when consuming news;
• Use multiple sources on important subject matters, skewed to serious journalists from entities that employ journalistic standards;
• If it's from a partisan source, it's almost certainly not the Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing but the Truth;
• TV is a good source for news about the weather;
• If it sounds too weird to be true be very skeptical;
• If it's on social media be very very skeptical;
• Newsferyoos.com is NOT a credible source of information!
• And for Cripe Sakes double check the veracity of information to avoid spreading crap around the interwebs and polluting the "brains" of your fellow Americans. It's your patriotic duty!

My wife Jackie is being forced against her will into the decision to work full time. By her employer, me, finances? Nope, by the @$$ouls who own and operate the Republicon Party and the complete uncertainty that they've created in the healthcare market place. So Jackie is probably going to have to give up her Friday's off so that she can add me to her employer's plan at an affordable rate.

 The "good" news is that her mother passed away last year, so they won't be giving up t...heir time together when they ran took care of errands, appointments, shopping and a nice lunch. The bad news is that she and I will have less time and flexibility to help my aging parents and take care of our own chores. The worse news is we have no idea how our two younger 20-something kids will be getting achievable access to healthcare.

 For 7 years the GOPsters have been sabotaging and vowing to repeal and replace the ACA/Obamacare, which allowed us to affordably continue to insure our family when my former employer dropped coverage in 2013 and I then became a self-employed business owner in 2015. I suppose I could give up my business and my freedom and go crawling to an employer to get health insurance, is that what the Republicons want?

 For 7 years they never bothered to come up with a viable replacement, just a piece of crap slap to the poor and elderly and taxcut blowjob for the rich. The Dems wanted to label it Trumpcare, but that's not fair, he has absolutely no idea what's in it and doesn't care. It's really the prick Pall Ryand's mean little wishlist that has now failed because there are a handful of Republicans who actually give a shit about the people they're supposed to represent.

 So now they're just going to try and repeal and not replace Obamacare and send us back to the pre-ACA era with the corporate death panels, the pre-existing conditions, the crappy plans that you find out don't do what's needed precisely when you need it and the spiraling premiums. And so my dear wife will spend an extra day every week against her will, sitting at a computer in an attempt to keep a little safety net beneath us in case one of us gets sick or injured. Nice job @$$ouls!

 Now you're going to have to come up with some other way pay off your sponsors and step on the necks of the poor. But you have succeeded in one sense, repealing Obamacare is estimated to kick 18 million Americans off of health insurance. I know that's 6 million short of your goal, but I'm confident you'll come up with a way. Hey, another Great Republicon Recession would do the trick!

To My 3rd Party Voting Friends - Vote Hillary!

So, basically, you’re saying “A Trump Presidency is okay with me.”  Because one of two people is going to win this election: Hillary or Trump.  One of those two, nobody else.  And even if Trump wins BY 1 VOTE, he still takes ALL this state’s electoral votes.  Which is NOT okay.  But here’s 4 GREAT REASONS to vote for Hillary:

1. Hillary believes that climate change is real and will work urgently to stop and reverse it rather than hand our children a ruined ecosphere.
2. Hillary believes that we deserve a good national healthcare system (ACA) and will work to improve it rather than dismantle it.
3. Hillary believes in a strong fully funded Social Security system, rather than one given to Wall Street to gamble with.
4. Hillary believes that corporations are NOT people, and will appoint Supreme Court justices that will overturn Citizen’s United.

There are dozens of other great reasons to support Hillary for the Presidency, but if none of them matter to you (and if it doesn’t matter to you who Bernie Sanders is supporting), then by all means, cast your vote for someone else and help Trump win.  Even if it’s only by 1 VOTE.  But I HOPE that you’ll join me and vote for HILLARY.  Please.

Your Puritanical "Principles", More Important that the Planet?

I keep seeing posts from some of you liberals, progressives, lefties out there, trying to convince yourselves and your friends that because of some vague atrocity supposedly committed by Hillary Clinton, your principals prevent you from voting for her, so you're going to vote third party in vane.

Make no mistake it IS your vote to cast as you see fit. But if you believe that this election is about You and Your Principles you are most sadly mistaken. You are engaged in a Narcissism of Truly Trumpian proportions.

This election is about your family, your friends, your community, your country and your planet. But mostly, this election is about your children and the children of all those that surround you.

There are many issues in the balance, but I'll pick just one to be brief, the most critical one, Climate Change. Trumpenstein will destroy any efforts to stem the tide of global warming and it's getting late people, closing in on too late for our children's future. The fate of the planet literally hangs in the balance. 2016 was the first year ever that atmospheric carbon dioxide didn't fall below 400 ppm in the month of September. And if the methane frozen in the arctic and beneath the oceans starts to thaw, it's game over, welcome to Venus II, may you and your "principles" enjoy your brief stay.

So ask yourself, do you really think that your Puritanical "Principles" are more important than our Planet? Because that, my friends, would display an outlook of asstounding self-centrism and heedless inconsideration. We're all depending on you being better than that.

If you're like me, you consider yourself to be a Patriot. If you're not like me you might still consider yourself to be a Patriot, but maybe you're not. Maybe you're just a Nationalist.

A patriot is like a good parent. Good parents love their children unconditionally, but they have no illusions that their children are perfect. They have no problem with disciplining their children or having others to appropriately call their children to account when they've done wrong. Because good parents want their children to be the best people they can be.

A nationalist is like a bad parent. Bad parents love their children unconditionally. And they may have no illusions that their children are perfect or have a problem with disciplining them. But they go ape shit if anyone calls their children to account when they've done wrong. Because "What? Not my Child!" Unevolved and Totally Tribal!

I saw this when I had to take one of my kids to the police station over a stupid prank for which, thankfully, they were caught. The officer laid out the charges and then asked if he had the right party, to which we both answered "yes". The officer was clearly surprised at this. I thought that was a shame and very revealing.

Nationalism is Racism's just as dangerous, but surficially less revolting cousin. Subjects dared not criticize Nazi Germany. Subjects dare not criticize China or Russia or North Korea! But Citizens of America should never feel subjugated! Oh, and by the way, there are many patriots who suffered for our freedom. But only a fool would die for an F’ing Flag.

So Colin Kaepernick, in a way that hurts no one (even Packer fans), calls out America for its racist wrongs. Wrongs that it has made great progress on and should be proud of, but on which it OBVIOUSLY still has a long way to go. Like good parents, Patriots understand / tolerate that. As we were trying to save Europe's art treasures that were plundered by the Nazis, many Europeans at first refused to collaborate because they assumed we would do what the Germans and everyone before them did, pillage and take the treasure back to the U.S. But we didn't!

If there is any legitimate claim to American Exceptionalism this is it! Instead of claiming the spoils of war as the spoiled little Trumpster has exhorted, America instituted the Marshall Plan by which we helped rebuild countries devastated by the war including the aggressors West Germany, Italy and Japan. UNPRECIDENTED!

Of course the Trumpladyte is vacuous when it comes the details on any of his so called "plans", so we'll never know just how he thinks we would have taken Iraq's oil or how much more American blood and treasure would have been required for adding this theft on to the Debacle in Iraqle (a war the donald was for before he was against). But it would have been Huuuuuuge as we would not just be fighting ISIS, but all Iraqi's and people from across the middle east for gross imperialist pillagry.

This is only one small sample of why this man, with the emotional maturity of a fourth grader, who has pillaged the wealth of other American's to build his gambling den empire it totally unfit to be America's president. If we elect this scam artist, we will not only be justly feared and a global laughing stock, we will lose all legitimacy to lead the world forward as we have for decades. With a would be dictator in charge, who loves Vladimer Putin and his "leadership", America would be unexceptional. Just another plundering power in a long line of pathetic plutocracies. WWWalker Backs Off Corporatization of Badgered State Seniors! (for now)

She sure looks scared. She SHOULD BE!

Today the Wrong Way Walker Mis-Administration backed off the for-profit takeover of the Badgered State's senior citizens. In a surprise move this morning WWWalker's DHS Secretary Kitty Rhoades informed rulemakers in the WMC legislature that proposed changes to Wiscossippi's long-term care program were being withdrawn.

Da Gubnah in fealty to his profiteering corporatist overlords inserted this change into the budget last year. This particular scheme would have eliminated a highly successful and popular program serving 55,000 disabled and frail elderly in the once great great state of Wisconsin, who are eligible and have long-term care needs. The program helps those served remain in the community and avoid institutionalization. They get to hire, train and fire their own care providers, people who may perform personal care and hygiene services, cooking, cleaning, nursing. This gives them the freedom and choice (things Republicons purport to believe in) to manage their own lives and in many cases to hold jobs! But don't take my word for it, consider the opinion of an expert in the field.

So this development begs the question; why did the money god worshipper Scooter put the interests of our senior and disabled citizens and neighbors over those of his feudal lords? It is certainly NOT because he's had a Road to Damascus Revelation that he should do the right for the most vulnerable among us or that he suddenly cares about the People of Wisconsin. He cares only about one person, Scott Walker and his power-lust. The unanimous Declaration of the thinking people of the Badgered State:

We hold these truths to be self-evident that the once great state of Wisconsin is populated by ignorant rubes who support ill-willed @$$ouls!

The history of the present Gubnah of the Badgered State, Wrong Way Walker is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over this $tate by monied intersts. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good and instead  implemented these 100 atrocities!

1. Asbestos Lawsuits – 2013 Act 154 – Restricts the legal options available to victims of asbestos-related injuries who seek compensation from companies that used asbestos.

2. Zombie Homes – 2015 Act 376 – Makes it more difficult for communities to rid their neighborhoods of abandoned homes by extending the time that lenders have to decide whether to sell foreclosed, abandoned property from the current five weeks, to one year.

3. Lead in Paint – 2015 Act 55 – Changes the definition of “lead-bearing paint” to allow greater amounts of lead in paint before the paint is legally considered lead paint. This law also forbids the state Department of Health Services from redefining lead paint in the future in order to conform to stricter guidelines issued by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

4. Lead Paint Inspections – 2015 Act 122 – Reduces state lead paint inspection and testing requirements.

5. Lead Paint Liability – 2013 Act 20 – Exempts lead paint manufacturers from future products liability lawsuits.

6. Payday Loan Regulations – 2011 Act 32 – Reduces payday loan regulations intended to protect consumers from predatory loan practices.

WWWalker Couldn't Manage a Popsicle Stand

Wrong Way Walker has shown that he CANNOT MANAGE ANYTHING!

From his Secret Server Staff as Milw Co Exec, to the Corrections Dept and beyond and especially the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) the guy is completely incompetent. And THAT is a compliment, because it assumes he's not just utterly corrupt.

The guy is a great career politician and an very affective cog for his ideological masters, but it's clear that he lacks the managerial skills to run a popsicle stand.
