Pimped My Ride for the Koch Ho!

I pimped my ride in "honor" of the Koch Ho, Wrong Way Walker

I was always proud to be from Wisconsin and I believed I lived in a special state with a great heritage forged by a people with vision and a shared sense of fair play and goodwill. Those illusions have been shattered as I watch 150-plus years of that great heritage being swept away in the blink of an eye by a bunch of reactionaries lead by a corrupt fundamentalist interloper from Iowa and I realize that so many in the dairy state no longer know a rascal from a hole in the ground. And now our university system, the very embodiment of The Wisconsin Idea is under attack. SHAME!

Budget Bottom Line: Wrong Way Walker created a deficit with tax breaks for the wealthy that failed to spur the economy as advertised and now he's Whacking Wisconsin's Seniors, Students, Scientists, Disabled Citizens, Workers and OurEnvironment to fix the problem he created.

Our Once Present Future No Longer Exists - Thanks to the Koch Ho!

Plutocrats from far beyond our borders
Hand our “representers” dollar drenched marching orders
It ain’t no damned democracy when it’s been purchased
And that’s our now present future do you get the gist

They’ve repeatedly sinned and refuse to repent
The Federated Brotherhood of the One Percent
We’ve got to wrest the power from their wrist
And make these now present rulers no longer exist

Our once present future no longer exists
If you love your freedom you’re damn right to be pissed
Raise your arm up topped with a fist
Declare this now present future must never persist

$1 billion for the Koch Ho in 2016
To grease the gearbox of their malignant money machine
These traitors are slow-motion terrorists
They’ll make your freewill of the future no longer exist

All for one, one for all, that stuff’s in the past
E pluribus pluribus, united my @$$!
This Demockery people we must resist
These now present ruler’s rings must never be kissed

The once present future no longer exists
Nobody’s quite certain of what it consists
And while for many the memory fades in the mist
In my mind its eerie echoes persist

Sean Cranley – With credit to Andy Mitchell for the great term Federated Brotherhood of the One Percent. Thanks Andy!

GOPsters Pile on the Shtuff!

GOPster Crapitalism Delivered!

The budget the Republicon's are in the process of enacting is not only mean-spirited, it's fiscally irresponsible and grossly immoral. Kicking 85,000 Wisconsin citizens off Badgercare so they can refuse to accept $120 million in federal money to cover their healthcare, while giving big tax breaks to rich people by borrowing one time money and falsely claiming they've eliminated Wisconsin's budget deficit is just disgusting. 55% of the tax savings would go to people making over $100,000 per year, another unstimulative gift in the 30-year long failed experiment/scam of supply-side economics. They're also funneling our tax dollars to private/religious schools, by giving a tax credit to anyone, regardless of income, who sends their kids to private schools. Budgets are moral documents and this budget, crafted in the dead of night by extremist ideologues and their corporatist lobbyists while good Wisconsinites slept, is egregious, absurd and heartless. SHAME on all of you!

And on top of refusing the $120 million in federal medicaid money the GOPsters approved another $70 million dollars to go to the corporate hospitals to make sure THEY are not hurt when the uninsured people show up hurting at the emergency room and try to get healthcare.

You SEE? Even THEY don't believe their own nonsense that these poor people will be able to afford health insurance under the Obamacare exchanges! And they have in fact ADMITTED, to the tune of $70M that they're kicking Wisconsinites off of healthcare and that their lying about it!

Fairies, Frog Princes & Failing Schools!

Scooter "Koch Ho" Walker & Robin "Vulture" Vos

Yup, it's the Poverty Stupid. DUH!

We've said it before, there is No Such Thing as a Failing School! Students fail, and where students fail in large concentrations it's due to factors Concentrated in the Community, Principally Poverty that are out side the school house walls and beyond the control of educators. We've also noted that income inequality is bad for the economy and causes more Poverty!

Well now here is the solid evidence that the two together, increasing income inequality and increasing poverty are at the heart of the so called education crisis in America. Linked below is an excellent article by David Sirota on education and who the Public School bashing, Vulture School pushing Republicon "Reformers" really serve, what their hidden agenda is (because EVERYTHING they do has one!) and why they Dare Not speak of concentrated poverty as the root cause!

http://www.salon.com/2013/06/03/instead_of_a_war_on_teachers_how_about_one_on_poverty/

EXCERPT:  America’s wealthiest traditional public schools happen to be among the world’s highest-achieving schools. Most of those high-performing wealthy public schools also happen to be unionized. If, as “reformers” suggest, the public school system or the presence of organized labor was really the key factor in harming American education, then those wealthy schools would be in serious crisis — and wouldn’t be at the top of the international charts. Instead, the fact that they aren’t in crisis and are so high-achieving suggests neither the system itself nor unions are the big factor causing high-poverty schools to lag behind. It suggests that the “high poverty” part is the problem.

That, of course, shouldn’t be a controversial notion; it is so painfully obvious it’s amazing anyone would even try to deny it. But that gets back to motive: The “reform” movement (and its loyal media outlets) cast a discussion of poverty as taboo because poverty and inequality are byproducts of the same economic policies that serve that movement’s funders.

It's the GREED People! Don't let the these shills for the Profiteers turn our children into their Revenue Streams!

The White Wash Won't Work Walker!

Empty GM Plant in Janesville Wisconsin

Even with the white wash, It's Not Working Walker!

Wiscosippi's Gubnah Walker would have you think that all is on the mend in the Badger State and we're on our way to sunshine, roses and his promised 250,000 jobs. In a state that has gone from 11th to 44th in job creation under little Scooter's rule, nothing could be further from the truth.

(Psssst, Scooter, dampening consumer demand in a 70% consumer demand driven economy in the middle of the Great Republicon Recession by attacking public worker job, benefits and retirement security was one major brain fart, even for you!)

Scott Walker to Speak in Climate of Denial

One of the best known living liars rides to the rescue of those who lie for a living. August 9th Scott Walker who professional GOPropagandist Joe Bast describes as “the nation’s most influential and successful governor.” will speak at a $150 per plate fundraiser in Chicago to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the Heartland Institute. By my estimation that means that if he speaks for 45 minutes the attendees will have paid $3.33 per lie!

The fundraiser is necessary due to the drop off of donors who objected to Heartland billboards that compared people who accept the mainstream science of human-induced climate change to the unibomber. but what do expect from scumbaggy shills like Heartland and Scott Walker?
http://www.motherjones.com/blue-marble/2012/06/heartland-institute-and-scott-walker-join-forces

In case you're not familiar with the Heartland Institute, they are the Chicago based PR-opaganda firm that for years worked for the tobacco industry to deny and sow doubt in the minds of the American public that cigarettes cause cancer. Of course we all now know without question that cigs cause malignancy.

These days the Heartland Institute is on the payroll of the fossil industries and is one of the major merchants of doubt in the malignancy that is climate change denial. They also dabble in promoting the conversion of our children into perpetual revenue streams for the education profiteers and in bashing and scapegoating our teachers to advance their corporatist "free-market" (yeah, right) anti worker agenda. In light of the above it won't surprise you that the Heartland Inst. is tied to the "free-market", I mean fascist American Legislative Exchange Council (fALEC) where global corporations secretly write and vote on the laws that will rule you from your statehouse.

You can learn more about these shit heads and how they're literally making it their business to run ourlives, including right in in Wisconsin by following this link: http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Heartland_Institute

SOURCEWATCH EXCERPT: Leaked documents show that the Hearland-Institute is planning to spend $612,000 supporting Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and four GOP Senators in their probable recall elections in a pro-Walker campaign they are calling “Operation Angry Badger.”
In the leaked documents Heartland wrote: "The recall elections of 2012 amount to a referenda on collective bargaining reform at the state level, making them of national interest. Successful recalls would be a major setback to the national effort to rein in public-sector compensation and union power." The documents propose a $612,000 campaign to include print ads, mailers, web ads, and blog posts that would promote the "successes" of Wisconsin Act 10 and portray Wisconsin teachers as overpaid and schools as underperforming.

Can you say "quid pro quo" Scotty? One again we witness Scot Walker's uncanny and scummy ability to be on the big money-driven, immoral, unethical and un-American side of every issue he touches! But then we already knew that Walker is up sainthood among the money-god-worshippers in the Cult of Con.

The Joke's On Us Peasants

"A unionized public employee, a teabagger, and a CEO are sitting at a table. In the middle of the table there is a plate with a dozen cookies on it. The CEO reaches across and takes 11 cookies, looks at the teabagger and says, "Look out for that union guy -- he wants a piece ...of your cookie."
