Hey sean, still a Mann-made global warming cultist? Even after the defection a AGW leader, one James Lovelock?

My favorite quote,
"The problem is we don’t know what the climate is doing. We thought we knew 20 years ago. That led to some alarmist books – mine included – because it looked clear-cut, but it hasn’t happened,”

-ex cult member James Lovelock.

Do you read Nemo? If so I have a suggestion for you; The Republican Brain: Why Even Educated Conservatives Deny Science -- and Reality, by Chris Mooney

He also authored The Republican War on Science. I know pat, easy black and white anwsers from authoritarians are more your style, but give it some thought.

You can read more about it here: http://www.alternet.org/teaparty/154252/the_republican_brain%3A_why_even_educated_conservatives_deny_science_-%20_and_reality/?page=1

Who knows, you might get beyond anecdotal evidence and even possibly develope some intellectual integrity.

Bu-bye.

"easy black and white anwsers[sic] from authoritarians". This from a AGW cultist who believes because authoritarian "experts" told him so? Case closed, eah? Never mind the growing piles of evidence, exposed corruption and politicalization of science. The irony! Thanks for the laugh, I missed your humor!

In case you decide to open your mind: The Highest Authority in Science is the Data

If you were a worth adversary Nemo, I would contend with you. However, I know from vast experience that you are not worthy, have no intellectual integrity and simply dance around when confronted the facts.

So you keep you wild conspiracy theories. And keep one finger in your ear and the other in the dike to hold back reality as long as you can little Nemo.

I'll keep the data, science and truth. You can keep the cult. It's no wonder you choose to bail. The only thing that mildly surprises me is that you were not smart enough to see the weakness of your position faster and got out sooner. With the chant like baseless pejoratives that have become your hallmark of course. Heh.

Still relying on the long debunked urban heat island argument, eh Nemo? Keep that finger jammed tightly into that reality containment dike of yours.

Actually, no. My main argument with cultists like yourself involves your fundamental lack of understanding of science. All scientific theories must be falsifiable. Mann-made global warming is not falsifiable. Mann-made global warming is not science. Pretty simple really. Why Occam himself could get a close shave with this razor sharp argument!

But if you must just stick with the Mann-made scripture, let's look at a little bit of heresy in the link I so graciously provided,

"Air temperature, aka “the temperature”. There are three sources of air temperature data: (1) UAH (satellite), (2) RSS (satellite), and (3) the records derived from the network of official land thermometers—GISS, NCDC, and HadCrut (over 90% of their raw data inputs are the same, they just process them in slightly different ways to arrive at slightly different results from each other).

The first two agree, say the warmest year was 1998, and that the warming trend stopped around 2000. The third source is quite different—it suggests the warmest year was 2006 or 2010 (depending on who processes it) and the warming trend is continuing. But the land thermometers are obviously corrupt—for example, most of them are in artificially warming locations such as at airports, near air conditioning outlets, at sewage farms, or in urban areas where they get increasing heat from increased fuel use in buildings and cars and from all that concrete etc"

Long debunked, eah? I guess so, accept for the actual data. Heh.

except for the actual data, sorry. Heh.

The funny thing is Nemo there is no "actual data" provided in your linked conspiracy website post. Zero.

There is not even a link to any data. None. Did you actually think there was?

And you've got the nerve to tell me I don't anything about science. Amazing.

I could provide info on the debunking of the urban heat island myth that shows that temps are rising in all the data sets, including rural settings. But we know that you're impervious to information that conflicts with you're pre-determined ideologically based version of "reality". So there's no point.

You've failed once again. Actual data, SHEESH! In the words of the immortal Bugs Bunny, "Whadda Maroon".

You could provide info on the debunking of the urban heat island myth? Really? That was easy. Heh.

But seriously, you tap danced right past my falsifiable theory claim (tapa tapa tapa sean). This goes to the heart of the matter.

James Lovelock seems to be deprogrammed, why can't you open your mind a wee bit and see the light of truth?

To also quote the rabbit, "What an ultramaroon!" Heh.
