Republicons Closing in on Goal of 100% @$$holery!

Well here's today's Daily Outrage for your Badgered State.

In their incessant attacks on education, teachers, workers, unions, the middle class, etc, the Republicons have always promoted the myth of a vast swath of "Bad Teachers" that must be found out and routed. Well now they've decided to make that myth a reality! Under Republicon Rule your Badgered State is set to become The ONLY State in the Nation to allow people to get a license to teach without even having a bachelors degree. Hell They Don't Even have to have a HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA! Drop Out, Kiss @$$ and Ca$h In!

Well boys, we gonna out Mississippi Mississippi! We've been racing for four years now, are we at the bottom yet? Could we plummet any further? It looks like I'm going to have to encourage my children who are in their 20's to leave the Badgered State so that my grandchildren can grow in a state that values it's citizens and therefore educating the children.

Which leads me to the following thought. Wiscossippi's Republicon Party has achieved a remarkable goal. Their elected officials and party GOPeratives are are now almost 100% Asshole!

A recent article in the Atlantic Monthly used the following definition:  “The asshole (1) allows himself to enjoy special advantages and does so systematically; (2) does this out of an entrenched sense of entitlement; and (3) is immunized by his sense of entitlement against the complaints of other people.”

Sounds like all the GOPsters I know, especially Wrong Way Walker. In fact I challenge anyone to name a current prominent Republicon who is NOT an Asshole. Good Luck With THAT!

Republicons are genius' at their craft of craftiness. Imagine if we could harness that genius for good! What I'm wondering is whether there might be a way to take whatever method they use and reverse engineer it. Imagine of you could find a way to create an organization almost completely devoid of Assholes, or even fine tune it to have just enough useful Assholes, but no more!

How do they do it? Is it a recruitment process they use? Do they effectively screen out non-Assholes? Might they're be something about the way they've built their organization that makes Assholes self-select for membership? Could it be a combination of these or is it something else. Figure it out and you could win a Nobel Peace Prize!

Bunkerbuster Bomb (My President Talks with God)

The Evil Dickster, Lest We Forget
With a couple Republicons (Jeb Bush & Marco Rubio) stumbling recently to truthfully answer questions about the debacle in Iraqle and the Totally Cooked "Intel" that led to that American atrocity on ourselves and the people of the region, which was patently obvious at the time, especially after Colin Powell's ridiculous dog & pony show at the U.N., I thought it timely to update this original piece with captions to refresh our nostalgia for the wonderful reign of Bu$hyboy and the Dickster. Enjoy!

Bunker Buster bomb (My President Talks With God):
Back when we were being misled into the debacle in Iraq, the military started a program to build a mega bomb, which they called Divine Strake. It creeps me out that anyone could deem a bomb to be “divine” and thereby imagine they would wield the hand of God in ‘tamping” down their enemies. Around that time George W. Bush was asked if he had consulted his Father regarding the wisdom of toppling our erstwhile ally Saddam. And Bushyboy replied that no, he had consulted his higher Father, obviously implying that he has conferred with God. So I imagined what it might have been like if that reporter had pressed further on this father thing, discussing with Georgie Boy his conversation with God. I give you Bunker Buster Bomb (My President Talks With God). Swing it!

Cognition? Cult of Con Can't Contend!

Today was like de ja vu all over again. what is it about the Cult of Con that renders it's indoctrinants incapable of arguing their way out of a paper bag and delusional enough to think they've not only made a good account of themselves, but they've actually set forth a prevailing argument? I've been through this drill so many times it's like predicting the sunrise. It's laughable, but it's also sad and pathetic.

I think this is largely due to the modern conservative movement being more like a cult than a political movement. They select their ideological dogma and then construct or obstruct the facts to allow themselves to maintain strict adherence to scripture. The Cult of Con is a faith, not fact-based ideology and thou shalt not blaspheme!

The following exchange took place on WPR's Joy Cardin show Facebook page under the topic of Republicon food restriction to punish the poor poor poverty. Enjoy!

  • Sean CranleyI'M NOT BUYING IT!
If the Republicons want to punish the poor for poverty, then whatever they put on that list I'm NOT BUYING EITHER!
